Like many across the world; I can't help but be immensely horrified by the racial Injustices that are taking place in our very society. No one should have to lose their child, friend, sibling, etc. to fatally careless acts, as the world has witnessed what became of Mr. George Floyd, Iyanna Dior, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud and countless others...
Like most, I may not know all the answers to combating issues like what we are currently witnessing in our society. But it's so important - especially now - that we occupy our time and resources to educate ourselves, acknowledge our individual existing privileges that may come with our individual identities, and to listen and act in solidarity for our friends, family members, neighbors, etc. of color so that those of us that may not be directly affected by the racial injustices taking place in our society can better grasp the gravity of these situations and learn how to combat them in our society. Overall - being better allies.
Proceed raised from this design will directly benefit the Black Lives Matter Foundation and their efforts to combating violence and systematic racism towards black people.
